LINDEN IS RESTLESS, WORRIED AND UNCERTAIN ABOUT ITS PRESENT CROP OF LEADERS. IT IS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE SITUATION AT PRESENT. I have spoken to a number of Lindeners, today. The impression I got, seems not to be nice. The people are not pleased with the state of affairs, at present. There is that underlying position that Linden is not satisfied with the performance of its present leadership. A number of Lindeners seem to share the single view that, it is neither here or there.. we dont know where we stand and are dissatisfied with the present situation Someone asked, outside of all the turmoil, where is the economic plan for Linden? What has the present leadership delivered? There is a restlessness at the grassroots level. The probing questions seem to be left unanswered. One longstanding PNC female activist said, there seems to be only talks, Mr Browne.. nothing tangible to back it up. This thing just seems to be politics with nothing to show. Nothing at all, Mr Browne, sir. We are suffering A gentleman from Wismar said Mr Browne, the mood here is.. Linden is up for grabs.. we cant continue on promises. Things remain unchanged. Some leaders at Linden are also talking about identifying a group of Lindeners who would agitate and charter an apolitical plan to rescue that mining town. One man said, Mr Browne, Sharma is a good leader but we are not seeing anything happening at all. Just talks, differences and promises. We are suffering! Perhaps, it is time we assert ourselves outside the present crop of leadership at Linden and demand answers and actions to see Linden out of its present woes. Please give your views here on what you would like to see as the way forward for a Linden.
