LISTEN TO THE TALKING DRUM SPEAKS ELUULU is a special bird - TopicsExpress

LISTEN TO THE TALKING DRUM SPEAKS ELUULU is a special bird notable for causing rain to fall at odd hours to bring misfortune on its fellow birds in their festive moods. One important thing to note however is that each time ELUULU causes a rain to fall, it is also a victim, yet it still pick delights in causing the rain so, I have learnt a lesson in the sociology of the agelong Ijebu Agemo tradition, Agemo Onire usually blazes the trail in the procession order of the Agemos every year. Each time onire arrives, he is usually beaten by the early morning showers to the admiration of his fellow Agemos whom people believed are responsible for the rain, but again there is a popular saying in the tradition that Ojo to ba pa Onire, gbogbo Alagemo lo maa pa...The rain that beats Onire will definitely beat every other Agemos. Again, there is an insect called ARIGISEGI, it is fond of acculating tining logs of woods. Each time Arigisegi gathers the tining woods it amuses you that it usually carry them on its head hence the Yoruba people will say, Arigisegi to ba segi ori ara e lo fi ngbe. I therefore see reason in Ebenezer Obey song thus Eda to mose okun kun ko mase da osupa loro. My people Agidigbo is simply out to warn those who hide in the dark to play smart games against the well being of others....Bi oba aye orie, the King of kings is up there watching..iRE OOOOOO
