On Nov. 11th 2013, Trent was notified NOT by his ex girlfriend but a friend telling him his ex was pregnant. Trent went the next day and registered on the putative fathers registration. his daughter was born Dec. 30th 2013. Trent learned who the Paps were and even met with them offering visitation of his daughter IF they returned her to him. ( Originally thinking maybe they didnt know that she has a daddy who wanted her). They announced to him not only were not giving her to him but if he fought they would make sure he never so much as even got a picture of her. The Paps are both attorneys and she is even the prosecuting attorney. They are both friends of Judge Xollie Duncan who is the judge in the case. Trent was TPRd on the grounds of unreasonably withholding consent. ( Is there such a thing as reasonably withholding consent ?) and placed a gag order on the case. Trent is currently in the middle of filing an appeal.
