LITTER & HUMAN WASTE The SDAA General Committee has introduced - TopicsExpress

LITTER & HUMAN WASTE The SDAA General Committee has introduced the following rule that applies to all SDAA fisheries with immediate effect (July 2013): · All members (especially long stay anglers) must ensure their toiletry requirements are catered for in a way that does not cause any offence or hygiene hazard to other members or rightful users of the water and adjoining land. · All foul waste must be bagged and removed from the fishery by the member. · Any member found guilty of leaving litter or fouling the fisheries will have their membership terminated with no refund of their membership subscriptions. Members are expected to respect the fisheries and the surrounding environment. However, a small minority of members continue to leave litter, and use the fisheries and adjacent land as a toilet. In spite of the committee’s numerous warnings these problems have shown no signs of improvement. Please contact an Officer of the Club immediately if you witness this rule being broken. If these problems persist, the SDAA committee will consider restricting fishing at the worst effected venues
