(John 10:27) They said I was wrong, little did they know, I am right (2 Corinthians 5:21) They said I was imperfect, little did they know, I am faultless (Psalm 139:14) They said I am weak, little did they know, I am strong (2 Cor. 12:10) They said I was alone, little did they know, He was with me. (Hebrews 13:5) They said I was bad, little did they know, in me there is no guile. (Titus 3:5) They said I was a mistake, little did they know, I am a miracle (Jeremiah 1:5) They said I was stained, little did they know, I have been washed. (Isaiah 40:31) They said I have no sight, little did they know, my vision is crystal clear (Mathew 9:30) They said I can do nothing, little did they know, I can do everything. (Philippians 4:13) They said I was dry, little did they know, rivers of living water flow from me. (John 7:38) They said I was fatherless, little did they know, He is a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5) They said I was at the wrong place, little did they know, my feet were ordered (Psalm 37:23) They said I was lukewarm, little did they know, I burn with passion & great desire (2 cor 4:7 They said I would never be anything, little did they know, I have a promise. (Psalm 37:11) They said I was impure, little did they know, my hands clean & heart is pure (Psalm 51:10) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ever single one of these statements has a story in my life. Some of the "they" were people who were the closest to me and others not so close. In any case, if you allow peoples words to impress you negatively, you will never thrive. Yes, words do hurt but when they become intentional to keep you from moving up into what God calls you to, you must make war against them and you do that by feeding yourself the truth.
