Some of the "they" were people who were the closest to me and others not so close. In any case, if you allow peoples words to impress you negatively, you will never thrive. Yes, words do hurt but when they become intentional to keep you from moving up into what God calls you to, you must make war against them and you do that by feeding yourself the truth.
