***LIVED WITH CATS AND DOGS!!!*** Conan is a simply gorgeous dog with a coat the color of coffee beans. He’s a robust boy of 84-pounds that his previous family says comes from eating dry kibble. Go figure. He’s only two-years-old and like a typical young boy, he gets into mischief. His family brought him to the Brooklyn shelter where he will be killed tomorrow because they felt he was too active! Gee, we always thought the active puppies were the ones that people sought. Being a big boy hardly seems like a decent reason to die but there you have the logic of some folks. Actually Conan has lived with cats and dogs amicably but that hard to please former family says that he pulls on the leash when he’s around strange animals. Because of his history the shelter recommends Conan for an experienced family without young children. Conan probably won’t be that lucky as he’s caught kennel cough so now he’s in the sick ward. That would be a crime for a boy who is friendly to people, other dogs and cats. Will you please advocate tonight for our boisterous boy Conan? He needs every one of us to search for a home for him.
