LIVERPOOL RESCUE - Cake Baking Competition - 2014 At our Annual Open Day on Sunday 29th June. Are your up for a challenge? Classes A. Vegan large Cake B. Vegan Small Cakes C. Non Vegan Large Cake D. Non Vegan Small cakes Rules: Large cakes - these must be whole sponge cakes and can be of any shape, size or flavour providing they need to be sliced into portions to serve. The cakes may be filled/decorated or not and will be judged on three points 1. Overall appearance 2. Texture 3. Flavour. Small cakes - these must be sponge based eg, muffins cupcakes, fairy cakes and can be any shape and flavour. They should be of a similar size and may be filled/decorated or not. 6 of each cake should be supplied and they will be judged on the following three points. 1. Overall appearance 2. Texture 3. Flavour. All decorations must be edible. Entries should be delivered to the Liverpool rescue Centre between 12 and 1.30pm on the day of the event . Entries cannot be accepted before this time. Pre registration is available. If choosing this option please post your completed form and entry fee to reach us no later than Wednesday 25th June 2014. Forms should be posted to Cake Competition, Freshfields Animal Rescue, East Lane, Ince Blundell, Liverpool L29 3EA. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place rosettes will be awarded in each category. Judging is at 2pm, winners will be announced at 3pm. Entry forms can be collected from here at the rescue in Reception, or any of our shops.
