The judge Haig Murray from Dunbia picked his Champions from the heavy class, this pair weighing in at 90.5Kg were shown by Douglas Gray on behalf of Mrs C M Reid, Boreland, Eddleston. Reserve ticket went to Angus Kennedy and son Angus with the first prize light pair at 70.5kgs. Well done to all exhibitors, especially those showing for the first time. Haig Murray said “The medium weight class of Blackies were the best class of sheep that he had ever judged”, what an accolade to the sheep and to all the exhibitors who took the time to prepare and bring the sheep forward.
