LIVING BLACK | NITV | TUES 9 DEC | 8PM There over 250 remote communities throughout Western Australia, that are home to more than 12,000 Indigenous people. Oombulgurri community closed in 2011, but it seems it may not be the only community likely to face this future. Recently, the Western Australian Government announced up to 150 of those communities have been deemed unviable and the Barnett Government says theres no other option than to close them down.
