LIVING BOLDLY WITH A BLESSING JAR During the December 28 Worship Services, Pastor John lifted up the Gospel story of Simeon as one who lived boldly in the face of death as he waited and watched for the Messiah. We are invited to live boldy as well even in the face of death. The story shared in the sermon was that of Dr. Randy Pausch and his Last Lecture. Take a moment to watch this condensed version of it given on Oprah. In living boldly in the face of death, we are to always count our blessings. Pastor John gave to every family a glass Blessing jar. Throughout 2015, folks are to write down their blessings, fold them and put them in this jar. On New Years Eve 2015, we will gather to open our jars and celebrate the many blessings. If you did not get a Blessings Jar, let Pastor John know. He will get you one.
