LIVING IN THE PAST? Vol. 1 To live in the past can be interpreted to mean any of the following statements; 1. To hold unto to the things of the past 2. To refuse to forgive past hurt and evil done by others 3. To constantly recall mistakes and misdeeds that happened in the past 4. Absolute refusal to change ones views and opinions because of pains attached to some past incidents 5. A man is living in the past when he fails to accept new changes, innovations and ideas that can benefit him 6. When a man refuses to forsake his sins way and accept Jesus, such a man is living in the past 7. Anyone that has not enjoyed or experience new things for too long, i.e promotion, success, great accomplishments, physical/ spiritual development etc. such a person is living in the past. IMPLICATION FOR LIVING IN THE PAST: 1. It hinders a man from moving from his current position to a higher position 2. It makes it difficult for someone to fulfil his purpose and destiny 3. It causes man to labour without profits or results 4. It reduces a man from exceptional personality to an average individual 5. It makes a man to doubt the blessings and faithfulness of God, and when a man doubts God, such a man is an enemy of God 6. A man that lives in the past may not make heaven if he does not take right steps. 7. A man that lives in the past will end up being a failure, for he wont be able to fulfil his destiny. NOTE: The greatest implication for living in the past is that, it will be difficult for such an individual to enjoy the blessings of the present, and such a person may not be able to reach out for the manifestation of a glorious future.
