LIVING TO TELL I dont respond very well to threats. But that - TopicsExpress

LIVING TO TELL I dont respond very well to threats. But that depends on who is giving them. Hoping I dont start off in a wrong footing, read the other post A DAY IN LIFE AT GESICHO. Mr. Keragia is one of the best English teachers I have interacted with. (Hope am as good in English as the teachers told me). It was a Friday, dont ask me the specific date: year 2001. Its sports day at Mobamba. My classmates decided to accompany the team to Mobamba kuwapa morale. However, they were not permitted to by the authorities. That spelt trouble as they had take a french leave. Donge? Weeee! Come Monday, usual routine. Late comers around the field. Those that sneaked to Mobamba have a story to tell. If u were not here on Friday toka nje! Does that sound like a request? Thank God I didnt sneak. Outside the class, the next order was, Enda ndani ya mahindi niwapige sana. What! Thats when you start praying to your God to save you. Hata Biblia inasema kuna mwizi aliokokea msalabani. The beating that followed was inevitable like rain or tax. After the beating, the culprits had to dig trenches outside the Twin Lab after coming with parents. Mr. Keragias arguement: Omoibori, omoisi oyo oo nomuya sana, korende egento kiamosariri nkonyu are enyasore. What do u expect from a parent..... Our life was threatened every waking day.
