LIVONIA- Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty advises that on Monday August 4th, 2014 at around 5pm they received a 911 call for an ambulance on Wilkins Tract for a possible drowning in the Town of Livonia. Deputies arrived on scene within 3 minutes of the 911 call. A 76 year old male from Lakeville was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for further medical evaluations. Upon arrival at the hospital the Lakeville man was pronounced dead. The cause of death is still under investigation at this time. The victims name will not be released until family members are notified. The Livingston County Sheriffs Office personnel on scene were Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, Captain Norman Zeh, Investigator Joshua Monster, Sgt Joseph Breu, Deputy Michael Williams, Deputy Caleb Cutting, Deputy Matt Moran, Deputy Matt Wood, and Deputy Kenneth Ippolitto. Assisting with the call was Livonia EMS, New York State Police and Livingston County ALS. -Investigator Joshua D. Monster
