LIZZY NEEDS OUR PRAYERS TODAY! Today, we ask you all to take a moment and say a prayer for our sweet Lizzy! Lizzy just came into our rescue. She is a Shepherd mix and approximately 12 weeks of age. She is the sweetest and loves to snuggle under your arm. Today, however, Lizzy is undergoing major surgery. When Lizzy came to us, she could not keep food down. She was underweight, so she was immediately rushed to our emergency vet where it was found she has Persistent Right Aortic Arch, or Vascular Ring Anomaly. It is an abnormality, which can be common in puppies, causing narrowing of the esophagus, leading to digestive problems. Lizzy has been with our vet for a week under fluids and careful feeding and monitoring. She has gained about 8oz, and today she will undergo a major, complicated surgery. It must be done now to correct this and ensure success. Please pray for our baby girl! She is only 12 weeks of age, and has so much life ahead of her. We want to see her play and run around like puppies should. Send her love, positive light, and healing energy for a successful surgery. We have the finest care for her, and will do everything we can to ensure this baby has the chance at life she needs and so deserves!
