LOADED UP FOR HARROW VINDURO The trucks loaded and the alarm set: in the wee small hours of tomorrow morning Russ and I set off on the long, long, -- 1,156km to be precise -- haul to far-west Victoria for the 2014 Harrow Vinduro. And we cant wait! Mind you, we had some crappy news earlier in the week, when word came through that Reeksy had buggered up his leg after a mid-air incident in the skies over Appin last weekend. Reeksys new best mate is a plaster cast for the next six weeks or so after he busted a swag of bones in his foot and leg. Get well soon, Johnny! Nevertheless, Russ and I will join team captain Shoey to fly the Team Husqvarna NSW flag high at Harrow this weekend. Russ has been charging like a mad-man on the tools, giving Reeksys infamous two-cartons-of-VB Suzuki PE a hell of a make-over ... just look at the pic -- I didnt even recognise it! As for my trusty XR350R, well, my cunning plan to slip on a disc brake front end this week went pear-shape when much needed new spokes failed to arrive in time - doh! So TZ Tech Editor, Clive The Professor Ward, gave the red rocket a once-over, bathed it in bike shine and proclaimed, ‘Go get em, Clubby ... and get that clunka out of my workshop so I can get back to some paying jobs! The weather forecast for Harrow this weekend sounds near perfect, while VERi front man Steve Baker tells us more than 100 pre-entries have been accepted and work arrowing the massive 90km course is just about done. Woo hoo ... Harrow here we come! -- Clubby
