LOCAL 28 meeting tonight!!!! Dont forget to bring some candy for the Halloween Bash!!!!! Also 2nd round of Officer Nominations is tonight!!!!!! All I still dont know why our minutes keep disappearing!!! But here they are once again!!! LOCAL 28 MINUTES-September 5, 2014 Meeting was held at Pulaski County Shrine Club on September 5, 2014 at 07:02 PM, All officers were present except for Vice President and C.C. Rep. President, Larry Wheeler led the local in the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence was observed for our Brothers and Sisters past and present. REPORTS: Secretary: Dennis Flick made a motion to accept minutes as they were put out on the web, facebook, and email. Spuds seconded the motion, and minutes were approved with a raise of hand vote. Treasurer: Local account: $ 4,620.73 Slush Fund: $ 334.45 (pending withdrawal for Turkey Tom’s headstone, but found out that it was already paid so not pending anymore) Product Line: Local 28 we have shirts, mugs, and other goodies still available for purchase. Safety: Steve Sagi, watch out for deer, the season is upon us in 9 days it will be time for hunting to start which will push them out of the woods. Watch out for new High School drivers. *Wanted to know if people would be interested in Steve trying to have an Advance Rider Course be brought down here from FORR. *MAFR was wondering if there was a chance we could put a safety page in the program, if there was Steve said he would be willing to write it up for the upcoming Rally’s program. **Debbie Dowling made a motion that a page be put into the MAFR program sponsored by Local 28. Seconded by Spuds, voted and passed. C.C. Rep: Was not present but there will be a C.C. meeting held September 14, 2014 Newsletter: Had nothing to put out, but the Local gave praise to Debbie for doing an amazing job!!!! Membership: Bill announced Birthdays and Anniversaries. Local 28 currently has 161 members. We had 36 members present at the meeting with 1 guest. Thanks so much to whom all showed. Vice President: Was not present. President: *Memorial Ride we had 13 bikes and 2 cars was a nice ride. *Mid Missouri Motorcycle Rally in Sedalia had about 500 people the event occurred on August 27-September 1st, 2014. *POP’s Ride will be October 4, 2014 Starting and Ending at the Pulaski County Shrine Club, this is where we help take care one of our own. We raise money to put propane in Oma’s tank. There will be a silent auction and ATG will be playing!!!! Kickstands up at 3:00pm and should be returning around 6’ish. *Halloween Bash is October 25, 2014 We still need lots of Volunteers!! For everything!!!! Please remember to bring candy to October’s meeting. **Moe and Debbie Dowling asked if the Local would be interested in making a donation of $75 to the Waynesville High School Homecoming Float, with that donation our name gets put on a float! *Vivian made a motion to donate $75 to the WHS Float to have our name put on a float, Suzi seconded, voted and passed. Tommy Shaw made a motion to end the meeting, Spuds seconded motion all voted and we adjourned at 8:10 PM. Next Local 28 Meeting will be held on October 3, 2014 starting at 07:00PM.
