***LOCAL BREAKING NEWS*** The United Lincolnshire NHS Trust are yet again under scrutiny tonight as routine operations are now being cancelled due to the pressure on Hospitals across the County due to funding cuts and lack of aftercare causing bed blocking. 77.9% of admissions to A&E departments across the county have been seen within 4 hours. Lindsey Online understand that the Boston Pilgrim is still under Black Alert and Hospital Management have stated that Safety comes before targets. They also say they are reallocating resources to cope with emergency admissions and surgery. The advice currently unless you have suffered a severe accident or arrest etc which of course 999 is the number to ring, but for everything else ring 111 for non-emergency advice and if you can wait until the morning, pharmacists will be available from 9am for advice across the area!
