LOCAL EMPLOYER RECEIVES SPECIAL RECOGNITION FOR THEIR SUPPORT OF THEIR EMPLOYERS AND OUR MILITARY MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. The Veterans Art Center of Grand Junction has been recognized for their strong dedicated support of military service members and their families. Specifically, the staff has been very generous with their programs to support service members in particularly those with special needs They have been previously recognized by other major organizations locally and nationally as well. Signing and receiving the Statement of Support Award is Wendy Hoffman, CEO and Director centered holding the award. Also presenting the award to Wendy was Charles Ackerman, Dea Bridge, Bret Mixon, Lou Brackett, and John McGee, ESGR Volunteers with the Department of Defense. ESGR, established in 1972, applauds and recognizes employers who practice personnel policies that support employee participation in the military, particularly in the National Guard and Reserve. ESGR operates via a network of hundreds of volunteers within 54 Field Committees throughout the United States. Colorado has such a committed and dedicated committee of volunteers.
