LOCAL NEWS UPDATE... LOCAL NEWS UPDATE... LOCAL NEWS UP... McMorran Receives Holiday Spruce Up......... On Tuesday, Port Huron Parks and Forestry workers were busy raising a Colorado Spruce Christmas Tree into place in front of the McMorran Auditorium on Huron Avenue in Downtown Port Huron. The 35 Foot Tree was donated to the City by a local home owner and will begin to be trimmed and decorated in preparation for the Annual Christmas Season Lighting to take place on Friday, November 28th following the Mainstreet Santa Parade that begins at 6:00 p.m.. The public is encouraged to attend the Annual Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting which is a family highlight of the season. Santa and Mrs. Clause hope to see everyone once again this year on Friday evening, November 28th, for the Parade along Military and Huron Streets along with the Tree Lighting in front of McMorran. The Parade will kick off at 6:00 p.m. at Military near Court Street proceeding North over the Military Street Bridge continue on Huron Avenue to Bard Street. Hope To See Everyone There.....
