Henriette is moving toward the west-southwest near 16 mph, 26 km/h, and this general motion is expected to continue the next couple of days, with an increase in forward speed. On the forecast track, Henriette will pass well south of the main Hawaiian islands on Sunday. Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph, 85 km/h, with higher gusts. Slow but steady weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours, with Henriette forecast to become a depression on Sunday.
