LODGE 5 MOOSE RIDERS July – Sponsored the Mr/Ms Moose Contest at the Lodge and donated $400 to the Mooseheart School Renovation Fund in the name of Moose Lodge 5 and Moose Riders through the Kentucky Moose Association. August – Had a Membership Appreciation Picnic at Wendell Moore Park with lots of food provided. Some fished, played Tripoli, or Corn Hole, and door prizes were given out, as well as goody bags for the children. October – Had Membership Meeting and discussed frequency of meetings/dates, Sponsor Nights, and the Lodge Governor spoke about a Car Show at our lodge in June. It was decided that we would have a booth at the Car Show and help the lodge, as needed. UPCOMING EVENTS: Oct. 26th - Sponsor Night @ Shack in the Back (Dinner) Nov. 16th – Sponsor Night @ Angio’s (Dinner) Jan. 25th - Sponsor Night @ at Wick’s Hurstbourne (Dinner & Meeting) Moose Rider Membership is open to any Moose Member for a one-time fee of $25 which includes a t-shirt. Our members ride motorcycles, or cars of any make/model. The purpose of our group is to fundraise, and support lodge activities and to have fun going on rides to attractions, restaurants, or other lodges.
