LOG entry start date bla bla lololol ...For a while I have been using basic wooden come apart molds to make my soap .these molds involve butcher paper linners.They are basically 6 - 2 to 3 lb come apart boxes in the shape of a brick but a little deeper .The molds i have been using are kept in a big 10 gallon moving grate .i have to drag it into the kitchen across the floor..put them up on the table then make butcher paper linners for the boxes using a fitted box also made out of wood .This has been an affordable kind of old fashion way to make soap .Here we go reverting back to the olden days again..Recently i have been introduced to the awsome idea of silicone molds ..which just sort of turn inside out ..no pounding extream tempatures ,cursing etc etc they just pop out ..i was using aluminum candle molds to make my round scrubbies took me a while to figure how to get them to come out with out a struggle ..but those six inch tall aluminum candle molds are not pre cut into slices so the resulting tubes are a slippery trip to cut ,once they are removed from the molds
