LOGISTICS OFFICER National Officer - Level B Duty Station: Manila, Philippines The Job: Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Specialist, manages the logistics operations of a large-sized country office. Responsible for logistics operations including planning, coordination of incoming shipments, warehousing, in-country transport, establishment of logistics hubs and distribution centres. Advises on all matters within logistics. Collaborates closely with supply and programme colleagues in defining logistics interventions to meet programmatic needs. The Profile: We are looking for individuals with the ff. qualifications: • University degree from a recognised academic institution in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management, International Economics, Engineering, International Development, Contract/Commercial Law, or areas directly related to logistics operations or UNICEF programme areas. • Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible professional work experience at the national and international levels in logistics management. • Fluency in English. Second UN language is an advantage.
