LOL funny story from my class today. My 5 year old and his 6 year old brother have come across their hardest surah yet - suratul layl. The 5 year old was getting increasingly frustrated that he couldnt get verse 18 correct as he would always forget the word at the end - yatazaka. When they read, I let them walk around a little as theyre quite productive like that. So suddenly, he read the verse to me then walked near his chair and completed it. To my surprise, he got it right. So I made him stand next to me and repeat it. He got it wrong. I got up and went to the chair where he stood. And there it was... He wrote the word yatazaka 5 times on the leather chair. LOL. I then spoke to him about how Allah is always watching him and this wont help him at all. In fact, he will get sins rather than good deeds. He cried his eyes out but finished his surah properly alhamdulilah :) Bring on suratul Shams!!! :)
