LONG DAY. Our Christmas concert meant staying late after work today, and shortly before the students took to the stage, my daughter texted me a horrifying picture ( see below) of my Jesse girl with a huge wound by her eye. I almost had a heart attack...so far away from being able to help her. Lucky, I had gotten the kids to ride the bus home today so they could check in on the pups with my 13 hour day....which meant they saw it ...and could get a hold of my parents ( thank the Lord for my parents) so she could get to the vet. Shes on antibiotics now and Im taking her back in the morning at 7am to be put under for stitches. And my weekend will now be centered around keeping Jess and Joey from playing so her stitches stay in. Also, she hates the cone. And is currently trying her very best to get the dang thing off ...my poor girl... :-(
