***LONG, SEMI-SAPPY POST ALERT*** Let me tell you guys something..I have been doing a lot of soul searching lately. I have been doing this because I have been disappointed with a perception that I have not been making progress with my fitness. Back story, I made health, fitness, and nutrition a priority of mine back in 2009. It was really a way to heal myself while in an abusive relationship and after I FINALLY ended the relationship, since then it has become a passion of mine. Initially I saw results, but over the years I have plateaued. I have now been on a constant search to find something that works. (Does this sound familiar to you?) In any case, back in the summer I saw a post from someone named Beth Nettleton about a free 30 day arm challenge. I jumped on it. I slacked on the challenge, but my friendship with her grew and I was so motivated by what she was doing and posting about. Fast forward to October and I got a wild hair about Beachbody and decided to become a coach on a whim. Beth was so supportive and since has become one of my best friends. Now fast forward to just a few days ago, I got on my Team Beachbody profile to update my measurements to see that since starting Slim in 6 in November and with Beths coaching, motivation, and support I have lost 10 lbs. and a total of 7 inches. AND I THOUGHT THAT I WASNT MAKING PROGRESS! Boy was I wrong and upset about NOTHING! Now, I am so super excited about TWO things! First, I have been fortunate enough to meet and help some pretty awesome people on their own fitness journey that I have earned a Winter Retreat with some of my fellow Beachbody coaches and new best friend Beth. This will be the first time that we have met in person. My eyes fill with tears as I write this just thinking about it! Lastly, my beloved Beachbody is releasing a first of its kind fitness and nutrition program in just a few short days. It’s the only fitness and nutrition program that combines portion-control containers and world-class workouts. By placing equal emphasis on fitness and healthy portion control, anyone can lose weight—and keep it off—in a way that’s simple and sustainable. Whether you want to lose 10 pounds or 100 pounds, you can do it! I believe that this is the solution to the problems that so many of us face. We dont want to count calories, we dont have time to put a lot of thought into all this healthy eating and calories, and blah,blah, blah. We are busy people....at least I am. I have created a 21 day success group just for this program and I have a few spots left, if you want in let me know and we can chat about it.
