LONTONG SAYUR Rice Cake in Veggie Soup PS : Direction in making Lontong ( Rice Cake ) is below Ingredient; - water 1875 ml - 3 Bay leaves - 3 cm Galanga ..... smash it but dont break it - 3 stick Lemon Grass .... Smash it but dont break it - 11/2 cup coconut powder Grind all this ingredient together .... - 3 Red big long chilly pepper () you can take the seed out from it ) - 10 shallot - 6 Garlic - 4 candle nut - +/- 1 1/2 tsp salt - 1 1/2 chicken stock powder Veggie: - 1 medium green papaya ( Shredded it using cheese grader ) - 2 carrot ( Shredded it using cheese grader ) - 10 long bean cut 3 cm - 6 hard boiled egg - 1/2 kg shrimp peel and cut in 3 - grind all those ingredient that need to grind together - stir fry using 3 tbsp oli till the seasoning cook - put it in the water that have coconut and all other ingredient , including the egg and the shrimp ....... - cooked till the veggie cook and pour it on top of the Rice cake LONTONG Add 1 : 2 basmati rice and jasmine rice mixed it together . Basmati 4 tbsp & 8 Jasmine rice .... wash it and put it in plastic that can handle heat .... I even double or triple the plastic ..... put the rice 3/4 of the plastic from the 4-5 fold and stapler it to make it strong ...... so it wont break the plastic when the rice expand. boiled it in 2 hour ..... Your rice cake should be harden and yet still soft ......
