LOOKING FOR DANCERS AGED 18-40 TO PERFORM IN AN UPCOMING PRODUCTION - Toronto We are looking for dancers aged 18-40 to perform in an upcoming production taking place in Toronto on Oct. 19, 2013. We are seeking male and female dancers who 1) Have some classical technique training (either in Indian classical or Western technique) 2) Are familiar with and have an affinity for Indian culture 3) Have additional dance training and performance experience (Bollywood, etc.) Dancers will be paid rehearsal and performance fees according to Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists guidelines. The company is specifically interested in dancers who are physically versatile, and have performance experience. Location: Pia Bouman Studios, 6 Noble Street, Toronto Date: Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, 2:00-4:00 p.m. Dancers will present a short performance example (up to 3 minutes), and will be asked to learn a short routine. Those interested must be available for rehearsals in the six weeks leading up to the production, especially on Sunday afternoons.
