LORD!!! SPREAD MY TABLE!!! You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. Classic style of introduction and Israel Robert Burale sets sail... You dont have to always fight in the presence of your enemies, God has moments where he allows you to feast too. God himself prepares the table, meaning he plans the menu and spreads the delicacies in their varieties and abundance just for you all the while in the presence of your enemies. Divine Favor at work!!! What an incredible scene! Your enemies are in shock! They were sure Gods gonna strike you down for your failures. They were prepared to stand over you gloating as you fell into destruction. Yet now theyve been ordered to watch you as you feast on food, served by God himself. Theyre forced to observe how the Lord serves you, feeds you, and anoints you with the oil of joy and gladness!! You need to understand there two kinds of enemies. The Demonic kind, powers and principalities who hate you coz of your strong walk with the Lord. Secondly the Human kind who are people in your life whove become tools used by the devil to make your life miserable. Your number of human enemies depends on your sphere of influence the greater the more!!!! In any case as long as you set your heart to follow Jesus and fulfill your God given assignment, youll be an offense to many. Youll be resisted by nonbelievers and fleshy Christians alike. Morever youll be marked as a target by wicked spirits. Your adversary the accuser will attack you spiritually and physically by stirring up trouble for you among your human enemies! In this sense the Lords table becomes even more amazing coz both classes of enemies have to sit by and watch as the Lord serves you. In the midst of them the Lord is pouring out his oil of gladness upon you. On the demonic side the devil rages coz he thought he surely had you, and on the human side God heaps your enemies with shame!!!!! Your human enemies thought you were finished but now they can only gaze in wonder as God blesses you. God is whispering in your ears as you feast dont worry about any of these enemies they cant do nothing against you. They intended evil and imagined a mischievous device which theyre not able to perform GOD SPREADS THIS TABLE FOR YOU NOT JUST IN TIMES OF VICTORY BUT ESPECIALLY IN YOUR TIMES OF FAILURE!!!!!
