LOS ANGELES, CA!! SOS!! HELP!! TWO BEAUTIFUL SENIORS HEADING TO HIGH KILL SHELTER!! Hi everyone this is Michele - we get pleas on a daily basis and help where we can - however we are completely full, our fosters are full and we are on an intake hold for the near future. I was contacted by the human of these two beautiful seniors. He said to me in the email he cant pay the pet deposit for the cats to move with him. Yes, we know thats not a good thing, yes we know we want him to not do it. However none of that helps these two cats who he will be taking to a HIGH KILL shelter on Wednesday of next week. If anyone has a heart and a place to show these two seniors that not all humans are this way please, please consider taking them. One is a purebred Siberian and his lifelong companion. They need to be together for the rest of their lives. This is ripping my heart out and theres NOTHING I can do about it except come to you and ask you to open your heart and home and share the holidays with these two innocent creatures who have had the misfortune to end up in the situation they are now in. We all know a senior in a shelter isnt going to live for very long and these two babies will loose their lives. They will be placed on a cold examine table and a needle full of poison injected into their vein, by a stranger, alone, scared, unloved and wondering what they did wrong. Their lives will end simply because they werent wanted by the person who promised to love them and take care of them forever. This may be not what you want to read but its the cold reality of what we rescues deal with on a daily basis. We try to post happy, hopeful things on Milos FB page since theres so much sadness in the world, but today we are sad, we are crying, we are praying for a miracle.
