Dough Flat Trailhead to Alder Creek to Cow Springs.Nearby areas: FILLMORE, SANTA PAULA, OJAI, HWY 33, FRAZIER PARK. Creedence, Female Black & Tan Coonhound, 3 yrs old,.60 lbs. Leather collar with Brass plate containing 2 phone numbers.Microchipped. Reward. On Wednesday November 26th my husband took our hounds for a run in the Los Padres. He entered at Dough Flats and proceeded along Alder Creek to Cow Springs. Our female hound chased a scent over the a hill west of his location. He called to her and thought she would follow him back but he waited at the trailhead for her until almost midnight and she did not return. Its possible that she wasnt aware he had turned around and continued on the trail in the wrong direction. We are hopeful that she has survived and met up with some backpackers and will return to us. She could be anywhere in the Los Padres and may have even made it to Frasier park or Highway 33. Our hearts our aching for her return. Her name is Creedence. She is a 3 year old female black and tan coonhound weighing about 60 pounds and wearing a leather collar with her name engraved on it. There is a brass plate riveted to her collar with 2 phone numbers on it. She is also microchipped with our information. We are offering a $500 reward for her safe return. Craigslist crosspost.
