LOST HORSES IN BIG SOUTH FORK, JAMESTOWN, TN $500 reward has been offered As of this morning at 9:00am CST the horses have NOT been found. I have been txting with Cindi - one of the owners of the horses and they are desperately still trying to find them. The pictures here are of the two horses - the ARE two different horses! They were bred from the same mare and have almost identical neck markings - however, their facial markings are different. Ocho has a star and blaze and Xango has just a star. They are both fully tacked and still lost in BSF. Both are B&W TWH. Cindi said one is 17HH and the other is 15.3HH. Cindi and her husband are staying at a cabin here in Jamestown, close to the Cumberland Valley Trailhead (not at a campground). I do not know the circumstances of how the horses both got loose but we do know that they are still out there. I understand that she and her husband are coordinating efforts with the Rangers to find them. I did see a post from a local tracker yesterday that she is also going to assist. Cindi has asked for assistance from anyone on the Honeycreek Horsecamp side of the park. I dont think it is wise to have a lot of horses out on the trail as it will eliminate the tracks they are trying to follow. However, if someone is available to go out on foot it would be MUCH appreciated. Dress well - it is raining and windy. I will try to keep you all posted of any progress.
