LOUDON, N.H. (Sept. 19, 2014) -- Martin Truex Jr. will start 32nd in Sundays Sylvania 300 Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. With a lack of rear grip, Truex had trouble getting his No. 78 Furniture Row/Denver Mattress Chevrolet to lay down a strong lap during the 30-minute qualifying session Friday afternoon. His time and speed on the 1.058-mile oval were 27.863 seconds at 136.697 miles per hour. The single-car Furniture Row Racing team will have two practices on Saturday to dial in the No. 78 for Sundays 300-lap event at New Englands Magic Mile. The pole winner was Brad Keselowski (27.090 at 140.598). Rounding out the top-10 in order were: Jamie McMurray, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Joey Logano, Carl Edwards, Ryan Newman and Kyle Larson. Sundays race will be televised on ESPN, beginning with a 60-minute prerace show, beginning at 11 a.m. MT (1 p.m. ET).
