LOUISIANA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MOVING The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce and city visitors and convention bureau is moving to the old Pick-a-Dilly building at the junction of Hwy. 54 and Hwy. 79 and the Champ Clark Bridge. The chamber is leasing the building from Niemann Foods for $1 for two years, according to chamber Director Chris Koetters. Niemann Foods is currently renovating the old Kroger Store in Louisiana for a new County Market and closed the Pick-a-Dilly store in recent months. The Pick-a-Dilly building is also undergoing renovation and should supply better visibility to tourists, Koetters said. For the full story, see the May 14 issue of the Louisiana Press-Journal.
