LOUTH LOCAL AUTHORITIES TENANTS HANDBOOK. Just checked my Tenancy Agreement and nowhere does it say anything about your tenancy will in Jeopardy if failure to pay any bills re: ESB - GAS - WATER - REFUSE BIN. 1. Rent must be paid every week. 2. You must give the local authority full details of income and household circumstances. 3. You must not take in lodgers or sub tenants without prior permission. This includes family members who return home or partners moving in. 4. You must not make alterations without written permission from the local authority. 5. You must advise if you will be away from your home for more than 6 weeks. 6. The dwelling must be used as your main home. 7. The dwelling must not be used for business purposes of any kind. 8. You must keep the house and garden in good condition. 9. Only domestic pets ( 2 per house) may be kept and these must be kept under control. Dogs identified as controlled breeds are not permitted ( including strains thereof ). 10. You and your household, including visitors, must not cause nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours. 11. Authorised Officers of the local authority must be allowed to enter and inspect the dwelling at reasonable times and carry out necessary work. 12. You must give four weeks notice should you wish to terminate your tenancy. So there it is written in black and white i cannot be evicted for non payment of Water Charges or any other bill. Julie.
