LOVE HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART Matthew 22:37 Jesus said love the Lord thy God with all heart thy and with all thy soul and with all thy mind. (KJV Bible). In the above verse Jesus gives an instruction that we must love God with ALL of our heart, soul and mind. How do you love God with all of your heart and all of your soul and all of your mind? The Greek word translated heart in Matthew 22:37 is ‘kardia’ and the correct rendering for this verse is ‘the middle or the centre’. Therefore, loving God with all your heart means you must love God in such a way that He is the centre, the core, the driver, the reason for everything that you do. Your love of God must be the force that propels you to do everything that you do. You are consumed with the carrying out of God’s agenda 24/7, 365 days every year and 366 days in a leap year. Everywhere, people must see/notice/identify your love of God manifesting. They must feel it. The love of God always brings an atmosphere that causes circumstances to change for the better and advance the kingdom of God. If you love God from your core, then when you pitch up things must change for the better. For example, if you are a married man, if you love God with all your heart it follows that the joy in your spouse’s life must have increased since you married her and ‘officially’ took her away from her parents’ home. Have you improved her or have you lowered her value? John 1:1 says ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.’ John 1:3-4 ‘All things were made by Him (the Word); and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. In Him was life and the life was the light of man.’ If the love of God is at the centre of everything that you do, then it follows you will love the Word of God passionately. You will do whatever God’s Word tells you to do. God’s Word contains the life that is needed to bring light, prosperity, success, joy, peace, etc needed by all men and women in order to be limit-breakers that live a champion’s life now and forever. For most people inconsistency in attending church meetings is simply an indication that there are other things that they love more than God and they drive their agenda. Failure to pray, spouse bashing, child abuse, gossiping/slander, laziness, CARNALITY, etc simply show that God’s love is not at the centre, the core of your life. DO YOU LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART?
