LOVE OF A POET Every canvas portrays the art and the image of the artist And a poem is the art of saying what is hidden inside the soul Every word, taken with care is placed, on paper like a river flowing, Creating the image, coloring in every detail, Even when a bird opened its wings, And suddenly took flight, Or when the clouds are grey, Heavy with the water, start a summer rain, and the earth is dry anticipating and welcomes every drop to quench thirst. And the ground moves, trembling with excitement For the seeds start to sprout, suddenly its spring, All these are just words, That the poet can bring, Life, still but in motion. The art of a poet.
