LOVE OURSELVES...?....ESTEEM OURSELVES...? ( Matthew.22:37, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.(38) This is the first and great commandment.(39) And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.)....JESUS IS CORRECTING SELF LOVE HERE..HE IS SAYING LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR THE WAY YOU LOVE YOURSELF....PAUL IS PUTTING SELF LOVE IN WITH, COVETOUS, BOASTERS, PROUD, ALONG WITH BLASPHEMERS, DISOBEDIENT TO PARENTS, UNTHANKFUL, UNHOLY, PAUL MAKES IT VERY CLEAR LOVING OURSELVES IS BLASPHEMY...( 2Timothy.3:2, For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, ).....JESUS SAID TO DENY OURSELVES...( Luke.9:23, And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. )...( Mark.8.34, And when he had called the people [unto him] with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.)..MANY TEACH LOVE YOURSELF..BUILT UP YOUR SELF ESTEEM..JESUS SAID SELF ESTEEM IS A ABOMINATION UNTO GOD....(Luke.16.15, And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. ).( Matthew.23.12, And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.( Proverbs.16:5, Every one [that is] proud in heart [is] an abomination to the LORD: [though] hand [join] in hand, he shall not be unpunished. )..( Isaiah.14.12, How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (13) For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:(14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.(15) Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. )....SATAN WAS KICKED OUT OF HEAVEN FOR PRIDE.....( Luke.10.18, And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven )....( Psalm.10.4, The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek [after God]: God [is] not in all his thoughts. )...( 1John. 2.15, Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world.
