LOVEYUALLINCHRIST! == FUSION FIRE JAM is here! 1 week from tonight we will be letting Jesus Music blast through downtown Eustis, Christian Stock Car drivers share their stories and display their cars, Teenagers participate in games and activities, Youth Groups try and raise some funds for their agenda. I am so excited to be with yuall in this event! Each person has shown a love for the youth(teens) that is not shown in other venues! I have prayed, praying now, and will continue to pray for EACH OF YOUR MINISTRIES! I want FUSION to continue on for a 6th year in 2014!!! I want to see a stage for: Youth Groups to be Showcased, Church Youth Groups coming together Sharing Their Resources for the Glory of God & the salvation of teenagers. == A note for FUSION FIRE JAME: ALL FOOD VENDORS WILL BE STATIONED TOGETHER TO MAKE ONE LARGE CONCESSION STAND...Any FREE WATER we have will be stacked at one end of the STAND...The vendors that are listed to be participating are: Mikey-Hamburgers, Steve-HotDogs, Bob-Subs, Julie-Can Drinks & Snacks/Candy, Amy-PopCorn...THATS 5 VENDORS FOR A FUSION EVENT! (as Steve always shouts=PRAISE THE LORD!!!) == A designated space will be assigned for the 2 stock cars to be displayed. If some karts show up they will be lined up next to the race cars...The 2 drivers who are bringing their cars are: BOBBY RICHARDSON from Eustis who drivers Dirt Late Models at various race tracks and 17yr old DEVIN WALKER who just last week clinched the Drivers Track Championship at BRP(Ocala). == Jeremy and Steve has the line-up for the Stage Presentations of BANDS, SPEAKERS, etc... == Between Stage presentations we have at FUSION FIRE JAM === DJ Mikey!!! He will play music, make announcements, do the give-aways, and have some activities (fun-dances?). == AS I SAID AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS EMAIL I want to see FUSION continue with a 6th year of youth group fellowships. January and February will be held at either, First Assembly of God in Eustis or Whistling Pines Church in Dona Vista (I will get with both youth pastors to determine which one wants which month)...I also want to have a FUSION event at New Leaf Ministries in Tavares and return to Tavares at Bridges Covenant Church during the 2 months of April and May...YOU MAY BE ASKING WHAT ABOUT MARCH? ...Im glad you asked!!! == Below is an invitation for you to take FUSION as your own community outreach(this has always been our desire from the beginning 5yrs ago) and let your teens be involved themselves in something that IMPACTS hundreds of teens lives on a monthly basis, that can help your teens get SO ON FIRE FOR JESUS THAT THEY FUSE TOGETHER-FUSION! Well here is that opportunity which will enable your youth group to put on such an event. To make this happen you will also have the help of many people besides your own youth department staff. == I just came from securing the Youth & Retreat Center and Campground in Leesburg for an ALL-DAY FUSION to be held on Saturday March 22nd. The Retreat Center is located on Hwy 473(between Hwy 441 and Hwy 44 just west of The Home Depot store). == Did I get the property for free? ... nnaaahhhh, but the director, Bishop Solomon, did work with us and your youth group may have it for an investment of $98.oo OR LESS!!! We have the property All Day for $500.oo. We have full access to the Gym (which has 2 full-court basketball courts inside), their open field which is big enough for 2 stages, a touch-football game, a soccer game, and/or any activities we can come up with. We can have all the vendors we can round up (Church Youth Groups, Professional Vendors,Twistee Treat, etc...) WITH NO VENDOR PERMIT TO PURCHASE!, and we have as back-up in case of inclement weather their auditorium/chapel building for inside activities. I want to see 2 stages with BANDS PLAYING ALL DAY!!! (time-fames not yet agreed up / 9:30am to 4:30pm???). If you are in a band or know of a band let them know about this...let area churches know about this!!! == I am asking each of you to pray in how you can help the teens in Lake/Sumter County and surrounding areas to have a full day of activities, food, Live Music, and an opportunity to receive Christ as their savior. If 5 churches donate $13.00ea that will take care of a $75.00 deposit (which will be deducted from the $500.oo rental fee). That will leave $85.00ea for 5 churches to donate between now and March 22, 2014 (5 months). Of course I will start recruiting other churches to come on board with FUSION Fellowship Ministries so they can use this event as their Outreach Event also. The more churches that support this event, the less it will be a financial burden to each youth group!!! == We can sort the responsibilities the same way we did for the upcoming FUSION FIRE JAM at the Downtown Bandshell in Eustis. such as stage, vendors, food, drinks, etc... == I look forward to hearing from each one of the local area youth groups.
