LSCS School assembly was held today to honor our Lions Varsity Football team with the DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP trophy and present all of the All-District Football awards and All-State Volleyball awards. So proud of all of our our boys and our girls. (Note the All-District Volleyball awards were presented a few weeks ago at our senior night game and many of our volleyball girls were honored there so we do not want to forget them) A special shout out to our boys Michael Nehring for getting 2nd Team All-State Defensive Lineman, and Chris Nehring for getting 2nd Team Defensive Back in his Freshman year!! This is a great honor because all of the coaches in the district vote on this... It says a lot about our entire team and group of young men when every one of them was noticed and recognized... And of course my amazing hubby who stepped up to help with the training and coaching this year and was honored by being named the Asst. Coach of the Year. You def earned the accolades! Way to go Nehring men! Here is the video of the award event held at the school earlier today. I was glad to be able to attend.
