LUCKY IS MY MIDDLE NAME. DAAADEEEEEE (Daddy)... That was all she said, with a soft and innocent, yet angelic voice akin to celestial beings. Grabbing my legs tightly with her little hands soiled in pap, she was smiling up at me and I knew exactly what she wanted - carry me. I picked her up and gave her a long kiss on her smooth little forehead, the kiss was so long, she had to push my head away so I can give her another on the nose - her favourite. Hugging me tightly from the back, was the mum, I could feel her gentle heart beat and the warmth of her breath, but more importantly, she seemed to be reminding me of the fact that, behind every successful man is a good woman. I carefully dropped the little lady and gave her pretty mother a good kiss and then turn to leave without muttering a word, then I knew exactly what was happening - they were both in tears. As I turned around to give them my usual bye-bye wink, I saw their faces soaked in tears as they bid me goodbye. A tear broke out, but as men dont cry, I smiled and left. I had to be stronger, for me, for them and for real. Then, I realised that am one damn lucky motherf****r, I mean, real lucky. What else can i say?
