LUMINOUS-EYED LEADING LADY - Lovely Ella Raines starred in twenty films between 1943 and 1952. In addition, as JANET DEAN, PRIVATE NURSE (1954), she was one of the first women to have a starring role on television in a dramatic series. She passed away from throat cancer on May 30, 1988 in Sherman Oaks, California. She was 67.
