The last time I saw her, in person, was - when in the company of the late Jimmy Jewel and late Vince Powell - she was the subject of *This Is Your Life*, which was shot at Teddington Film Studios, and I was immediately impressed by her down-to-earth, unaffected and genuinely sincere approach, irrespective of whoever she talked to. It seems so unfair, when such an exemplary human being as Lynda should have to go like this, but then its not for me or anyone else for that matter, to gain-say our Creator or his reasons for doing anything. I would like to feel, however, that - because she was such a lovely person - he felt that it was time for her to take her place among the ethereal celestial angels, as opposed to the ones on the air, down here.
