La Cuscatleca (I think I spelled it wrong). I forgot photos. We ordered the carne guisada (beef stew), camarones a crema, a shrimp pupusa, and a loroco and cheese pupusa. First point in their favor: the staff greeted us in Spanish before realizing I can barely speak it. The food was great! I dont know èl salvadoran food well, but everything had great flavor. Its not spicy though, just delicious. The waitress explained everything we didnt understand--the menu isnt very big on translations or explaining things in English. Service was quick and friendly. Portion sizes were more than enough, we ate both entrees but had about half of the Pupusas left over. I dont know if this is a cultural thing or just overall weird-- I had a coffee and they gave me hot water, instant coffee crystals, cream, and sugar, to do as I pleased. Tasted like instant coffee, but wasnt any worse than diner coffee and I could make it as strong as I wanted. We will be back for sure.
