La Liga Sunday Wrap It was an action packed Sunday in the La Liga as 16 goals were scored across five games with Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Barcelona all registering victories and maintaining their 100 percent win record in the league. Real Madrid took part in the early afternoon game and got the better of Athletic Bilbao, beating them 3-1 to hand Bilbao their first loss of the season. A first half goal from David Villa and a second half strike from Koke saw Atletico Madrid beat Real Sociedad 2-1 which was also their first loss of the season. A first half hat-trick from Lionel Messi saw Barcelona with a 3-2 win over Valencia in the match of the night. The last two games of the evening ended in stalemates as Sevilla drew 2-2 with Malaga who were reduced to ten men while the game between Espanyol and Real Betis ended 0-0. Sevilla came from a goal behind twice to earn their 2-2 draw thanks to a brace from Kévin Gameiro after Pedro Morales and Roque Santa Cruz gave Malaga the lead on two separate occasions. Osasuna are the only team yet to pick up a point in the La Liga while Malaga, Real Betis and Getafe only have a point to their name. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal are all on nine points and yet to lose a game.
