La Montana is a song that we wrote to help raise awareness against bullying and cyber bullying. Bullying is generally defined as an intentional act that causes harm to others, and may involve verbal harassment, verbal or non-verbal threats, physical assault, stalking, or other methods of coercion such as manipulation, blackmail, or extortion. It is aggressive behavior that intends to hurt, threaten or frighten another person. An imbalance of power between the aggressor and the victim is often involved. Bullying occurs in a variety of contexts, such as schools, workplaces, political or military settings, and others. I have been honored to support bullying prevention organizations by encouraging students across the United States and Native American communities. I understand completely what it means to be bullied. Recently while I was on tour across the country my wife informed me that our youngest son was the victim of bullying in our city of Anaheim, CA. We dedicate this song to those that have been affected psychologically by bullying. Matthew 17:20 If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. We brought in long time friend V-Love from San Gabriel Valley to sing the hook. We were looking for that authentic Spanish sound to relate to the Latin culture. We understand that most Latin communities sing this popular song. Better Move I Say! We were looking to catch young and old with our lyrics, style and sound. It had to be something that everyone would unite and dance too. This song is a deceleration. This song is an announcement telling the mountains of issues that we face to be removed now. A small mustard seed faith can help us get past these giant issues. Written: The S.O.G. Crew Produced: Greg Leonti Mixed: Geoff Gibbs Sog Crew II
