La Petite Mort Gallery is looking for FALL/WINTER Interns! We are accepting applications for our 3 month fall/winter Internship positions. Please note that this is an unpaid Internship which will take place on Fridays from 11am-6pm. Please send us your resume, 3 references, and cover letter to tell us more about yourself, your experience in the arts, your interest in working with LPM, and what you hope to get out of your experience as an Intern. Applicants must be: - a current student or recently graduated in Fine Arts, Art History, Art Administration, or a related field - self-motivated - able to take initiative - able to thrive in a busy environment - able to multi-task - familiar with social media (Facebook / Twitter) & Word programs (familiarity with Mailchimp, Photoshop, Tumblr, Wordpress, and Bento are a bonus) Interns can expect to: - help with putting together monthly newsletters - distribute press materials around the city - advertise for gallery events through social media - help in keeping our website and databases up to date - help with daily chores and tasks - assist with any areas in which you have expertise - meet amazing artists and learn about the ins and outs of a commercial gallery Do you have what it takes?
