It’s the place I usually go to shoot a naturalistic photo, usually of birds or dragonflies or bugs. “When I arrived there were a lot of clouds and no wind, and the light was soft—the sun was behind the clouds. My first thought when I saw the scene was, This is a beautiful black-and-white landscape. This photo was submitted to Your Shot.
