#LaKeithasPerspective Weve all made mistakes. We have also made decisions in life that we regret. Its so amazing that we find strength to forgive others but rarely forgive ourselves for our own imperfections or inappropriate decisions. Once we admit that we were wrong and shouldnt have made the decision. Dont remain stagnate. Sometimes we remain down and out about a wrong decision because outsiders have developed an invisible shame timeline for us. But some of those developers will come to a place where they will need mercy themselves. I say, let them hold on to it and you keep moving forward. Ten years couldve past by the time you meet others expectations of when you should let go of past mistakes. To be flawed, to make mistakes, to be imperfect, inadequate, and fearful is simply a part of life. In II Corinthians 12:9, Paul said: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. God has His most perfect manifestation in our weakness. Give our mistakes to God, forgive ourselves and live life to the fullest.
