Laals music video You Give Me Hope Malala is now being used for English language education in Portugal. Just got this email: Dear Sir, We are the authors of an English language course book for Portuguese 11th grade students (aged 15 to 17 years old). Weve been teaching English to young learners for more than 20 years now and one of the contents we find are truly motivating to our students, and help them learn effectively, are videos. Some videos are just what is needed for students to learn the language, improve their knowledge of culture, science, environment, etc., build social awareness and find relevant career opportunities. We would like to congratulate you for the pedagogic quality and interest of your music video You Give Me Hope Malala at vimeo/70403225. As it deals with one of the issues included in the subjects syllabus for this grade and has just the adequate pitch in terms of language, we have included it in our course book as a way to motivate students and help them deal with updated and relevant information. Consequently, we would like to include this video file on a Teachers Pen Drive (for pedagogical and classroom use only) with the correct authorship references of course, so we ask you to allow us to do that.
